Just off the D&L Trail in Bowmanstown, PA, just past the gate, is this tiny quiet area to sit and watch the Lehigh River pass by.
Most people zip right by this peaceful little spot on their bicycles, but whenever I’m up this way I make sure to stop in and make sure the river is doing well.
If you get here later in the day, you’ll see a bunch of people tubing and rafting, and they’re generally pretty loud, too. Show up early and enjoy the peace.
